Gorilla theatre is much more rarely seen than guerilla theatre, which is also rare these days. I sincerely hope there will be a resurgence in both, perhaps simultaneously…

Good additions. Re: #13: People rode horses for millenia as well, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t get their ass kicked when the car came along. Theatre will always survive, sure — but it may survive as the entertainment version of the horse and buggy.
